On Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026, the ‘Dr Youssef Al-Khatib’ University of Health Sciences hosted the public selection sessions for the posts of University Hospital Professor and university hospital, ‘A’ grade.

This process took place in the presence of the Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Director of the University of Health Sciences, the Deputy Director responsible for medical and paramedical staff, and the Director of Healthcare Institutions within the Directorate-General for Health Services at the Ministry of Health, as well as the Deputy Director responsible for professors and researchers at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside members of the National College of Medical Sciences, senior staff from the University of Health Sciences, and the professors who passed the competitive examination.

This procedure forms part of the process of finalising the arrangements for access to posts corresponding to these two grades, in accordance with the regulations in force.
