As part of efforts to support new students and facilitate their integration into university life, the scientific clubs at the University of Health Sciences, named after the martyr Dr Youssef Al-Khatib, organised a welcome and orientation day for new students in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, coinciding with the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.
This event provided an opportunity to introduce the university and its faculties, and to offer various information and guidance to help students explore their university environment, familiarise themselves with the academic programme and student life, as well as to highlight the role of the scientific clubs and the opportunities they provide for scientific, cultural and educational activities.
The event also served to bring new students closer to their peers, providing them with an opportunity to engage in dialogue and raise their concerns and queries, thereby helping to ensure a successful and ambitious start to their university life.
