As part of the on-site monitoring of the progress of the entrance examination for admission to specialised medical studies (residency), the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Dr Youssef Al-Khatib, Professor Gharnaout Marzak, conducted an inspection visit on Saturday 17 October 2026 to the two centres hosting the examination at the University of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Law at the University of Algiers -1- Saïd Hamdine, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Bouali Faycal, and the Chair and members of the committee supervising the competition, alongside the Deputy Directors of the University and the University’s Secretary-General
This visit enabled the delegation to assess the conditions under which the examination would be held, inspect the readiness of the examination centres, ensure the smooth running of the various organisational stages, and verify the provision of the necessary material and human resources, thereby guaranteeing that the examination takes place under appropriate conditions characterised by seriousness, discipline and good organisation.
This monitoring forms part of the University administration’s commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the examination and providing suitable conditions for all candidates, in line with the principles of transparency and equal opportunities, and to guarantee the credibility of this academic assessment.
