Today, Wednesday 21 October 2026, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Health Sciences ‘Al-Mujahid Dr Youssef Al-Khatib’ organised the first day of the post allocation process for successful candidates in the entrance examination for the Specialised Medical Studies (Residency) programme, October 2026 intake.
The University Rector, Professor Gharnaout Marzak, presided over the opening of the post-allocation process, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Bouali Faisal, the Chair and members of the examination supervisory committee, alongside the Vice-Rectors, Professor Ma’oush Hashimi and Professor Dalassi Al-Tahir, and the administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine.
The first day of the selection process took place under favourable conditions, characterised by tight organisation and the smooth running of the proceedings. It is due to continue tomorrow, Thursday 22 October 2026, to complete the selection process in accordance with the established schedule.
