The University of Health Sciences, named after the late Dr. Youssef Al-Khatib, represents a stimulating environment for creativity and innovation, an incubator of science and knowledge, and a broad field for developing minds and skills in the various medical specialties offered by its three faculties: the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Pharmacy. This scientific edifice, which we all cherish, is where we strive to build a conscious generation armed with science and knowledge, capable of facing challenges and difficulties and contributing to building a health system that contributes to achieving the health security of the country.

Our university is committed to ensuring the quality of higher education and scientific research, and to achieving academic and research excellence. This is accomplished through developing the educational process and updating its training programs in line with global scientific advancements in the field of health. We believe that education is a noble mission and a national responsibility, which we fulfill with utmost sincerity, dedication, and professionalism. Our university boasts a medical simulation center equipped with state-of-the-art scientific equipment, such as digital dissection tables, in addition to numerous scientific and research laboratories across various medical, pharmaceutical, and dental disciplines.

We also work to enhance cooperation between the university and its social and economic environment, recognizing its role as a driving force in achieving the country’s economic development. Through its various university initiatives, such as the Business Incubator, the Entrepreneurship Development Center, the Technology and Innovation Support Center, the University-Economic Institutions Liaison Center, and the Artificial Intelligence Center, the university cultivates an entrepreneurial spirit in its students, encourages creativity and innovation, and guides them towards creating startups and economic enterprises that contribute to driving development and providing new and sustainable job opportunities, thus reducing unemployment among our university graduates.
