Simulation Centre

The medical simulation center, designed to train medical professionals and future doctors in various medical specialties, is the first of its kind in Algeria and Africa. The Faculty of Medicine in Ben Aknoun, known as “Ziania,” has been equipped with a high-tech medical simulation center, a gift from the European Union to Algeria. The medical simulators consist of robotic mannequins capable of mimicking human behaviors such as shedding tears, simulating heartbeat and blood pressure, and even the ability to feel pain.

This center is considered a valuable initiative in medical training, as it will allow students to understand the challenges they face when conducting medical consultations, diagnoses, or providing treatment to patients using assistive devices. The center will enable Algerian doctors to benefit from continuing education, acquire new knowledge, and master modern technologies. It will contribute to the training of medical professionals and medical students.
