On Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, in the Mohammed Nawas lecture hall at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences, the University Director, Professor Garnaout Merzouk, along with the Deputy Director of Continuing Education at the Ministry of Health, Mr. Fayala Abdelkader, oversaw the official launch of the study and training program for obtaining a Specialized Studies Certificate in Medical Sciences, specializing in blood transfusion.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hachemi Maouche; the Vice-Rector for Development and Foresight, Professor Kamal Mansouri; the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Djidjik Reda; and Professor Mendi Khalida, the program coordinator.

Also present were representatives from the Ministry of Health's Training Directorate, including Ms. Amroun, along with professors and physicians involved in the program, in an initiative aimed at strengthening scientific supervision and promoting excellence.
