On the evening of Monday 29 June 2026, the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Professor Gharnaout Marzouk, accompanied by Ms Khawaled Linda, Director of Training at the Ministry of Health, presided over the ceremony to award Certificates of Specialised Studies (CES) to the first cohort of graduates in Breast Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences.
The ceremony was attended by the programme coordinator, Professor Mohsen Boubenider Wahab, and the Vice-Rectors of the University: Professor Maoush Hashemi and Professor Dlasi Al-Taher; the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Bouali Faisal; the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Daraji Farid; the Head of the Department of Dentistry, Professor Al-Aiz Abdulrahman; Ms Omron, an official from the Directorate of Training at the Ministry of Health; as well as the lecturers who supervised the training and teaching, the faculty’s administrative staff, and the graduating doctors who obtained their postgraduate certificates in this specialism.
The graduation of this first cohort marks an important milestone that reflects the University of Health Sciences’ efforts to develop specialised medical training and strengthen national expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of healthcare services.
