On the evening of Monday, July 6, 2026, the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Professor Gharnaout Marzak, welcomed the professors participating in the second cohort of the training program in the People’s Republic of China. Present at the event were Ms. Khawaled Linda, Director of Training at the Ministry of Health; the university’s deputy directors; the University’s Secretary General, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Iman Amrani, who is in charge of coordinating cooperation with universities and hospitals in Asian and Arab countries, as well as the administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine.

During this meeting, the University President welcomed the participating professors, commending their efforts and commitment to making the most of this training program, which falls within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation and developing pedagogical and research competencies, in line with the latest scientific developments and contributing to the improvement of the quality of training and higher education.

He also listened to a presentation by the professors on the training program and its scientific and educational components, including activities and field visits to universities, hospitals, and research institutions in the People’s Republic of China, which allowed them to learn about the latest experiences and practices in the fields of education and scientific research.

The university president emphasized the importance of transferring the knowledge and experience gained to various university departments and encouraging the exchange of experiences among faculty members, thereby advancing the modernization of university education and enhancing academic performance—in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at supporting openness to international experiences and developing human resources.
