The programme also included personal testimonies from Ms Nabila Ben Seifi, Dr Bayou Belkacem and Dr Sahli Jamal, in which they recalled key moments from the late professor’s career, his humanitarian, academic and professional qualities, and the lasting impact he had on the development of dentistry in Algeria.
In a moment of tribute and appreciation, the lecture theatre was inaugurated and named after the mujahid Professor Salim Hafiz, to serve as a space for learning, training and knowledge, and as an institutional memorial that preserves his name and immortalises his contributions for future generations.
