Celebrating the arrival of international students in Algeria on Student Marhaba Day
This Thursday morning, November 13, 2025, a welcome day was held in the Mohammad Nawas Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences to celebrate the arrival of international students in Algeria on the occasion of Student Marhaba Day.
 honored this meeting with the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Dr. Youssef Al-Khatib, Professor Granaut Merzaq, in the presence of the Deputy Director of the University, the Secretary General of the University, the Deans of the Faculties, the Secretaries General of the Colleges, the President of the Office of Foreign Students and External Relations, as well as the foreign students who have joined the University.
During this meeting, the university director delivered a welcoming address in which he said:

"Today we are honored to welcome you to the newly renovated University of Health Sciences – Dr. Youssef Al-Khatib, a day on which we celebrate the international students who have chosen Algeria as their destination for science and knowledge. We say to you from the bottom of our hearts: Welcome to your second home, Algeria, and to your university, the University of Health Sciences – Dr. Youssef Al-Khatib. We wish you a pleasant stay and an academic career full of success and distinction."
The university's vice-chancellors, Professor Latafi and Professor Dalasi, along with the deans of the faculties of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, also delivered speeches, welcoming international students and emphasizing the importance of facilitating their academic journey and providing them with comprehensive support throughout their studies at the university. The international students participated in the event, offering brief remarks expressing their delight at being in Algeria and attending the University of Health Sciences, and confirming their interest in enriching their scientific and cultural experience in this friendly country.
