From December 11 to 13, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences in Algiers hosted a seminar-workshop for training and pedagogical production, organized within the framework of the partnership between the ASCOP Association and the Faculty, aimed at higher education professors.
This scientific event was attended by the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Professor Merzouk Garnaout, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Reda Jijik, which reflects the importance that the university attaches to pedagogical innovation and the development of professors’ competencies.
This workshop was led by a team of highly qualified experts, headed by Professor Kwawil Mghni, with contributions from Professor Yamin Kharaf and Professor Sofiane Ben Saidi, who presented modern and innovative pedagogical approaches that are in line with the requirements of higher education in the field of health sciences.
This training course was an important milestone that enabled participants to learn about contemporary educational models and methods that are learner-centered and responsive to the aspirations of students, society, and the needs of future health professions.
The participating professors also expressed their great satisfaction with the content of the training, and demonstrated positive interaction and active participation in the various workshops, reflecting the growing interest in developing pedagogical practices within the university.
In conclusion, the University of Health Sciences of Algeria extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all the supervisors and participants, and to the Faculty of Pharmacy, for their valuable efforts, good organization, and spirit of cooperation that contributed to the success of this pedagogical initiative.
