On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Professor Ghernaout Merzouk, participated in the proceedings of the Regional Conference of Central Universities meeting,Held at the University of Medea, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Jaafar Bouarouri, and in the presence of officials and heads of higher education institutions in the central region.
The large lecture hall “Arslan” hosted this coordination meeting, which was dedicated to discussing a set of priority files related to the current academic year,in particular, the evaluation of the results of the first semester, and the adjustment of the arrangements for the start of the second semester, in addition to following up on the developments of the innovation file and graduation projects framed within the framework of Decision No. 1275/008, in addition to addressing a number of organizational aspects aimed at improving the performance of university institutions and ensuring their smooth operation.
This meeting comes within the framework of supporting university governance and consolidating the principle of consultation and coordination between central universities, which contributes to unifying perceptions on priority pedagogical and organizational issues, and enhances the path of the Algerian university towards greater effectiveness, innovation, and quality of training.
