On the morning of Wednesday 16 September 2026, the University of Health Sciences, named after Mujahid Dr Yusuf Al-Khatib, welcomed a delegation from Belarus as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange in areas relating to higher education, scientific research and training in the health sciences.

The delegation was received by the University’s Director, Professor Gharnaout Marzak, in the presence of the Deputy Directors, the University’s Secretary-General, the Deans of the faculties, and a number of senior staff and administrative personnel.

This visit provided an opportunity to introduce the University of Health Sciences and its various structures and specialisations, and to explore prospects for cooperation and the exchange of expertise, thereby contributing to the development of international partnerships and opening up new avenues for academic and scientific collaboration.

This initiative forms part of the University of Health Sciences’ commitment to engaging with the international community and its keenness to expand its network of relations with foreign institutions and universities, thereby supporting the advancement of education and scientific research in the field of health sciences.
