Training project on artificial intelligence
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Professor Ghernaut Merzak, Rector of the University of Health Sciences, presided over the preliminary preparatory session for an ambitious training project centered on Artificial Intelligence (AI). This initiative aims to integrate AI technologies into continuous medical education, scientific research, and pedagogical instruction within the Algerian academic framework.
The meeting was attended by the university’s vice-rectors, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, training coordinators, and clinical university professors. Key discussions focused on:
