On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence Day, the Director of the University of Health Sciences, Mujahid Dr. Youssef Al-Khatib, Professor Gharnout Marzouk, extends his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the entire university community—faculty, staff, and students—and to the Algerian people, praying to God Almighty to preserve the blessings of security, stability, and prosperity for our homeland.

As we recall with pride and reverence the immense sacrifices made by our noble martyrs and devoted freedom fighters in the cause of regaining national sovereignty, we renew our commitment to continuing the journey of building and giving, to reinforcing the values of citizenship and belonging, and to drawing inspiration from the meaning of this anniversary’s motto: “Independence is a Trust for Generations,” thereby reinforcing our collective responsibility to serve Algeria and safeguard its achievements.
